The hits keep coming: Palin called "Disabled" by Democrat

Tax Evasionist, Democratic Rep Charlie Rangel called Palin "Disabled" then takes it back and say he meant "Disadvantaged."

Asked during an interview with New York's WCBS-2 television why Democrats seem afraid of Palin's popularity, Rangel replied: "You got to be kind to the disabled."

Which group of people are the Democrats going to offend next? STAY TUNED!!!

Since when is Incest Funny?

NBC jokes on Saturday Night Live Skit that Todd Palin had sex with his daughers. WOW was my first impression. They were trying to make fun of the media for all their false stories but I think this went WAY over line. Incest is NOT funny and it is offensive to anyone who has been a victim of incest.

Could you image the outrage if the skit had been Obama in place of Todd Palin? Why are right, Christian Conservatives, the only group left that it is okay to offend and make fun of?

Apparently, this skit is one of the only ones you can't find on SNL's archive. Imagine that. I also checked YouTube and there is nothing there yet.

As a mother, I'm outraged....incest and molestation is NOTHING to joke about. It is beyond vile. It is so obvious which "side" the media is on that it IS going to backfire.

Ageism Attack on McCain from Barack Obama

As if the Guns & Religion comment wasn't enough to offend Small Town America. Now, Barack Obama (BO) has a new ad attacking McCain for not using email. I wonder how many senior citizens don't know how to use a computer or send an email. Nice way to offend a good segment of the voting population.

GO HERE to see the new ad.

Laugh of the Day...

Thanks Michelle Malkin for my morning pick me up!

Disney should be offended!

I thought Matt Damon was going to keep his mouth shut about political stuff. He should. For one, where does he get 1 in 3 chance of dying??? If you check the Social Security Administration's Actuarial Life Table, at 72 years of age his probability of dying is NOT 32%. Obviously, they are using life insurance tables which are more conservative because life insurance companies are in it to make money...Meep explains it well here:
So what is this "32% chance of survival" stuff? They're using life insurance tables. There's a problem with life insurance tables -- we build in conservatism in assuming you'll die earlier than expected, because that's where the companies will get hurt if you buy life insurance. The only underwriting variable I have is his age and sex, and a few details of his cancer history. I could try to make an adjustment off the Social Security tables, but they weren't set up for that.

So yet again, another Democratic talking point is proved to be misleading.

Back to Disney, I hope Disney never hires Matt Shamon for a part. To call this a horrible Disney movie to use Matt's own language is absurd.

Does the context matter???

Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.

"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."

"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."

"We've had enough of the same old thing."

Does it matter what he meant by this? Sounds like a pretty negative attack to me!

You DECIDE:

All I know is...

That women I personally know in real life are FIRED up for Palin. (I do live in a Red State.) I know several people who really didn't care to vote for the Presidential Election are now excited. Even, the MEN I know are fired up! They like that she is a NRA member and hunts in addition to agreeing with her conservative views. Her conservative views are my top concern, the rest of it like being a mother, hunter, reformer, etc. are all just icing on the cake, baby!

Boycott US Weekly

I'm boycotting US Weekly, like I heard someone say today, I can read whatever I need to in that magazine while waiting in line at the grocery check out! It is never enough substance than a quick read anyway!

SO....check out this SITE. Contact their advertisers. Cancel your subscription if you are outraged! I'm outraged! I plan on emailing all the advertisers on the list!

US Weekly not only did not fact check, it is an obvious hit job.

Michelle Malkin read page 4 & 5 of the issue regarding Michelle Obama's style. Check it out HERE. How much do all those fancy outfits cost anyway? I'm sure way more than I, an average citizen, could afford. Yet, they are suppose to be the down to earth family. Okay, sure. Shop at Target and then we can talk!

US Weekly blantant bias

The June 19th issue of US Weekly magazine headlines 'Why Barack Loves Her." The article goes on to praise Michelle Obama as an extraordinary mother and how she balances motherhood and her CAREER. They advertised it like this:
Check out the latest issue of Us Weekly, available now, for the full untold story on why Barack loves Michelle, her struggle to get pregnant, why she rejected Barack when he first asked her out, and how she took her best friend to see Sex and the City on opening day.

Contrast that to the current, September 2nd issue with Sarah Palin and the shocking headline "Babies, Lies & Scandal." This is how they are advertising it:
Check out the latest issue of Us Weekly, available Wednesday, for more on the bizarre and false conspiracy and photos that led to the governor's stunning admission about her teenage daughter, what Palin is like as a person, and why Bristol's high school sweet Levi Johnston may not be ready for fatherhood.
Steve Hayes notes that Us publisher Jann Wenner is a prominent Obama donor. Can't imagine that influenced the different cover stories, can you?

More details about Sarah Palin

The Sun has a article on Sarah Palin, Why Sarah Palin has the X Factor. It is obviously slanted but it has some good biographical information. A couple of cute pictures of Sarah as a child. One of them she is holding crayfish!

Tough even as a teenager:
She helped the side win the Alaska small-school championship in 1982, scoring in the game’s final seconds despite having an ankle stress fracture at the time.
Seems like she has always been conscientious of saving money:
She eloped with husband and high school sweetheart Todd Palin — known as the First Dude — to spare the families the cost of a wedding.
Approval rating of 76%:
In a recent poll among Alaskans she had an approval rating of 76 per cent.
Sold state jet on Ebay after elected and followed through on a campaign promise:
In 2006 she was voted state Governor. After taking office she followed through on a campaign promise to sell the Governor’s private jet bought on state credit. She sold it for £1.3million after putting it on eBay.
Ebay? Isn't that what the liberals teased Cheney about?

Has good aim, which is better than Cheny can say. ha ha!!

Much-viewed recent YouTube footage shows Palin loosening off a few rounds from an automatic rifle while visiting troops in Kuwait.

An impressed US army instructor is heard telling her: “You’re pretty much hitting it dead centre.”

What's the difference between a grisly bear and a hockey mom? LIPSTICK according to Sarah Palin.

Mommy Wars & Palin

The newest addition to the McCain ticket is causing quite a stir. Is it a new mommy wars? Women are judging her for making HER own choices. Apparently THEY wouldn't make the same choices, which is fine but they are Palin's choices to make. I just wonder if she was a man, would they be making the same comments? Or have then even mentioned or know that Joe Biden was a single dad raising his 2 boys while he was in the Senate?

Comments like this from a recent New York Times article:
“When I first heard about Palin, I was impressed,” said Pamela Moore, a mother of two from Birmingham, Ala. But upon reading that Ms. Palin’s special-needs child was three days old when she went back to work, Ms. Moore began questioning the governor’s judgment. Partly as a result, she plans to vote for Senator Barack Obama.
I still find her impressive. I'm also a momma who went back to work within just a couple of days of giving birth. I was fortunate to be able to come into the office with baby, work at home some, and whatnot. Not the worst thing in the world. For THAT, she isn't voting for McCain/Palin. I doubt it. She was probably already an Obamabot before she knew that.

If you have a fussy baby, it might be a problem but mine were pretty mild and at that age, they eat, poop, and sleep. They slept for like 18 hours of the day.

What did these moms do with THEIR children while they are participating in all of these activities?
Within minutes of Friday’s announcement that Ms. Palin was joining the Republican ticket, women across the country started flooding blogs devoted to motherhood issues. Administrators of one Web site, D.C. Urban Moms, said they had received hundreds of postings, more than on any other political issue this year. All throughout the holiday weekend, at scrapbooking sessions, on hikes and at barbecues, women talked over the candidacy and the issues it raised.
and Really?
“You can juggle a BlackBerry and a breast pump in a lot of jobs, but not in the vice presidency,” said Christina Henry de Tessan, a mother of two in Portland, Ore., who supports Mr. Obama.
She knows this how? Has she been Vice President? Actually, I think a mother of 5 would know how to juggle more than a mother of 2. I'm a mother of 4 and I always have people ask me how I do everything that I do. They claim there is no way they could do as much because their 1 or 2 children take up all their time? Do I have more hours in the day than them? No, I just think I use more time more effectively and more efficiently. I remember being overwhelmed and stressed with one child. Even two was more difficult. By the time the third and fourth came along, it was a breeze. Old hat trick. Organization, effectiveness, efficiency.
“People who don’t have children or who have only one or two are kind of overwhelmed at the notion of five children,” Ms. Schlafly continued, mentioning that she had raised six children and run for Congress as well. “I think a hard-working, well-organized C.E.O. type can handle it very well.”
I think Sarah Palin is that woman!

Here is a woman who is already doing something similar and struggles with the balance of family/country, Cathy McMorris Rodgers,
In all of Washington, there is perhaps one person whose life most resembles the one that Ms. Palin is pursuing: Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Republican of Washington and mother of an infant son with Down syndrome. Ms. Rodgers cheered Ms. Palin’s entry into the race, saying it would draw attention to the policy needs of children and families.

I've also read on various Mommy Boards differing opinions and judgments on Palin's mommyhood. My opinion, is NONE of us are perfect and we all have to live with our own choices. But how could your mother being Vice President of our great country be that horrible of an atmosphere for a child to grow up in??? Well, possibly only because of the way the drive by media is trashing her and her familly!

The Mystery of the Myspace Pictures

Cajun boy stalked some children's myspace pages and is now using it as "evidence" that Levi & Bristol were married back in April. Why? Because "Mercedes", who is Levi's sister writes on the pictures, "my sister-in-law." Yep, that is the evidence. Case closed. They were married in April. Now, I don't know for sure if they were or were not married April. Maybe they were but that is not definite proof.

Does anyone else not remember being a teenager? I can see this as terms of endearment. Bristol and Levi are dating. Bristol and Mercedes are friends. So they "pretend" to be sister in laws. Cute, right? Well, teenagers would think it was.

The pictures are kind of confusing because there is a picture of "Mercedes"saying it is her and her new baby brother TriggyBear. I would guess that if these teenagers are really good friends, "Mercedes" may consider Trig her little brother too. It really sounds like they are one big happy family.

Bristol is in the pictures and she does not look like she just gave birth. Sarah Palin is also in a picture and it appears she is just in a sweatshirt with no shorts or short shorts but she is leaning over so it is hard to tell...attire more fitting to someone who just gave birth. (She looks great, BTW. She is one of the women who look fabulous after giving birth! It does happen!)

So folks, THIS is real life. This isn't some trust fund family. This is a real, American family, warts and all.

Daily Kos: Palin is NOT the mother of Trig?

Daily Kos is at it again. (UPDATED 9/2: This post has completely disappeared from KOS now that it has been proven false since Palin's daughter is 5 months pregnant.) Now, they are attacking a 17 year old girl. They are accusing Governor Palin of covering up her daughter's pregnancy and claiming it as her own. Are they living in a Soap Opera Fantasy? At the very least, they are accusing her of being irresponsible with HER own body when she traveled from Texas to Alaska when her water was supposedly broke. I thought the Obamabots were the party of HER body, HER choose? While at the time same time, somewhere a 17 year old has to have midriff examined like she was Britney Spears.

Let's dive into ARCIXI blatant accusation:
Well, Sarah, I'm calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better.
Does this comment leave any doubt that he is flat out saying Trig is not her son? No, it is being presented as a cold hard fact when all it is is circumstantial evidence. The only way for Palin to prove it to these Obamabots is to have a picture of Trig coming out of her own vaginal canal because DNA wouldn't be sufficient. In their mind, DNA could be fabricated or the lab could have been paid off. Better yet, the picture wouldn't be proof either because it could be photoshopped or there would be no way to prove it was Trig. So this is a lose-lose situation any way it goes.

"It's wonderful. She's very well-disguised," said Senate President Lyda Green, a mother of three who has sometimes sparred with Palin politically. "When I was five months pregnant, there was absolutely no question that I was with child."

Every woman carries differently and differently with each individual pregnancy. Any mother can tell you that. Yes, maybe I was a big fat whale at 5 months but that doesn't mean every other pregnant woman to ever exist was one too.

Palin said she's not aiming to take any time off from her job as governor, assuming all goes well with the pregnancy.
I'm not sure what this one is suppose to mean. Other women take little time off their job due to pregnancy. Isn't this one of the fabrications of the FMLA policy, that women are forced back into their jobs after just days of giving birth because they can't afford to take time off work? According to the libtoids, women are doing this all the time. In my personal experience, I was back to my job with my baby in my arms within just a couple of days. I worked part time and from home with no difficulty. I see no issue with her not taking time off as job as governor. I'm sure she just wanted to make sure the voters got what they paid for.

Eight months pregnant. A 6.2 pound fetus. No one notices a visible trace. By the third trimester, a perfectly fit woman not wearing anything less than a space suit should be easily spotted as pregnant. Not in Sarah's case.
Apparently this diarist has never heard of teens giving birth at 9 months and no one knowing about it? But alas, I don't believe anything in his diary except that is the wet dream of a leftoid robot. Yes, ARCIXI, I'm calling YOU a liar.

Check out these pictures of Sarah Palin during pregnancy:
March 15th:

Does this look like a woman who isn't pregnant? I hate to have to make these comments. But yes, her butt and back side look bigger which both happen during pregnancy. ARCIXI conveniently only shows pictures that support his cause.

Photobucket

Mind you, this is what she looked like BEFORE she got pregnant - she is obviously very thin & fit. Quite a difference from the picture above in my opinion.
Photobucket

Now to even more disgusting stuff.

The final point of interest is that Trig Palin has been diagnosed with Down's syndrome (aka trisomy 21). This is an interesting point, as chances of having offspring with Down's Syndrome increases from under 1% to 3% after a mother reaches the age of 40. However, 80% of the cases of Down's Syndrome are in mother's under the age of 35, through sheer quantities of births in this age group.
80% are in mothers under the age of 35. According to his own link, "An annual occurence of Down syndrome of about 9% is seen in women 35 years of age or older, but about 25% of babies with Down syndrome are born to women in this age group." So 75% of babies born with Down Syndrome are born to women less than 35. Not 80%. This could be true but he is also forgetting the fact that most women have their babies under the age of 35. This doesn't prove or disprove anything.

If you 20 year old, you have a 1 in 1529 chance of having a baby with Down Syndrome - which works out to very very low percent. If you are 44, you have a 1 in 35 chance of having a baby with Down Syndrome. 1 in 44 or 1 in 1529. Which one is more likely. There are more births in the Under 35 age category so of course, it is going to be a higher percentage of all babies with Down Syndrome born to that age category. The experts have worked this all out but apparently ARCIXI didn't want to mention this since it doesn't fit into his/her nice little lie. BTW, he/she is also using statistics from a UK, not US site.
